Dr Jacqueline Davidson qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2001 and is studying towards an MSc in Clinical Periodontology at the University of Central Lancashire, where she is also involved in research.
Dr Davidson spent eight years in general practice in Scotland, before moving to Australia, where she worked in community and general practice settings. She returned to Scotland in 2010 and became a practice owner, where she gained experience in restorative dentistry, oral medicine and oral surgery.
In Scotland, Dr Davidson also works as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Honorary Specialty Dentist at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School as part of the restorative team, teaching undergraduate students, and holds a postgraduate certificate in academic practice (PGCAP) from the University of Glasgow. She is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, and the International Team for Implantology.
Dr Davidson’s main focus is the treatment and management of patients with periodontal and peri-implant diseases and mucogingival defects, as part of the multi-disciplinary team at Vermilion. She has a calm and friendly manner and enjoys taking time to understand her patients and put them at ease.
