Dr Inus Goossens is a specialist in prosthodontics. He qualified as a dentist from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1989. After nine years in private general practice, he returned to full time study and was awarded the MChD (Prosthodontics) degree with distinction in 2001. During his studies, Dr Goossens was awarded the prestigious Colgate Palmolive prize for excellence in research.
During his four years of post-graduate studies, Dr Goossens underwent advanced training in endodontics, and although he is not on the specialist register for endodontics, he accepts referrals for root canal treatments from colleagues. Dr Goossens has worked with dental implants for over 20 years, and has lectured and published articles on this topic. He has also published articles on dental problems related to scuba diving, and is a keen underwater photographer.
Dr Goossens is registered as a specialist in prosthodontics with the General Dental Council, and is an active member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
