Dr David Offord
BDS MFDS RCPS Dip.Con.Sed.
Specialist in Oral Surgery

Dr Offord graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1994,
and is a registered specialist in oral surgery.

Dr Offord spent six years of his career in general dental practice in Scotland, Singapore
and Australia. In 2000 he made the move to hospital-based oral and maxillofacial
surgery positions in North Wales, London, Forth Valley and Fife over a six year period.
In 2001, Dr Offord attained the MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Glasgow, and in 2007 he was recognised by the General Dental Council
as a specialist in oral surgery.

Dr Offord has acquired extensive experience in implant surgery, operating in
collaboration with specialist prosthodontic colleagues. He has a very calm and
reassuring manner, and has a special interest in the management of anxious patients.
In 2008, he obtained the Diploma in Conscious Sedation at the University of Newcastle,
and is able to offer sedation to ease anxious patients through their surgery.
